Job Summary
The Marketing Director is responsible for the strategic leadership, execution, and performance of all marketing initiatives across Global Ordnance Holdings and its affiliated brands, including Global Ordnance, Global Military Products, and Mountain Horse. This role develops and drives integrated marketing strategy across multiple channels of sales, including commercial, government and e-commerce to increase internal and external brand authority, product visibility, revenue growth, market share, and reputation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
• Establish and consistently measure KPIs.
• Develop reporting systems to track marketing ROI and performance.
• Oversee brand architecture and ensure consistency across all business units and affiliated brands.
• Provide executive oversight of company websites and digital platforms.
• Direct development of sales materials, digital assets, and go-to-market strategies.
• Oversee planning and execution of trade shows, industry events, and corporate functions.
• Lead, mentor, manage, and develop marketing team members, including employees and contractors.
• Facilitate marketing team member performance evaluations.
• Manage marketing budgets, forecasts, and vendor relationships.
• Executes lead-generation campaigns and measures success of various initiatives.
• Partner with product development, sales, customer service, and operations.
• Develop and implement internal marketing initiatives to ensure consistent brand messaging and product awareness across all departments, including Sales, Operations, Compliance, and Executive Leadership.
• Lead internal communication strategies to educate teams on new product launches, brand positioning, competitive differentiators, and key marketing campaigns.
• Create structured internal rollout plans for product launches to ensure sales teams, customer service, and operational staff are equipped with accurate product knowledge and messaging.
• Promote a unified brand culture by reinforcing company values, positioning, and strategic priorities through internal/external communications.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR regulations and applicable industry standards.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field required; MBA preferred.
• 7–10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership experience, preferably within the defense industry.
• Experience and comfort within defense, firearms, law enforcement, military, or highly regulated industries preferred.
• Strong understanding of CRM systems, digital marketing platforms, and analytics tools.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and forecasting.
• Authorized U.S. Person under ITAR regulations.
• Ability to travel domestically for trade shows and strategic events.
Physical Demands & Abilities
• Prolonged sitting and computer use.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs when necessary.
• Travel including overnight and weekend events throughout the year.
Working Conditions
Work will be mostly completed in a climate-controlled office environment, but sometimes requires working in the climate-controlled warehouse. Trade shows and events occur multiple times per year and require walking or standing for long periods of time.
