Systems Engineering Co-op
Summary:
As a Systems Engineering Co-op, you will be working collaboratively and independently with professional designers and engineers who are responsible for the design, development and performance testing of HVAC equipment. You will learn how to take new software products from concept to customer with a focus on accuracy and documentation.
Responsibilities:
The individual will be involved in a variety of projects which may include:
- Prototyping app and database development
- Testing and documenting program performance
- Learning about AI and how to use it for productivity gains
- Minor analysis and engineering calculations
- Analyzing data and using Microsoft Word/PDF and PowerPoint to prepare reports
It will be our intent and purpose to provide the individual with real world experience, which includes assisting in the progression of a product from concept stage to end use. This position will focus on exposing an aspiring computer science engineer to the product evolution process, including a first-hand, practical exposure to real world use cases. Our goal is to provide an experience that will be an important, effective first step in the career of a future computer science professional.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science
- Strong programing aptitude
- Solid analytical skills
- Related coursework
- Proficiency using Microsoft Suite
- Basic understanding of documentation
