Position Title: Occupational Therapist
Full Time
Day Shift – 8am-4:30pm
Compensation: $82K-$102K

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.

Position Summary

Evaluate and treat patients using the principles and practices of occupational therapy in accordance with the patient's age, developmental level and diagnosis. Assists clinical manager with administrative duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates patients, establishes goals and develops individualized treatment plans.
  • Provides direct patient treatment based on current occupational therapy practice and revises the treatment plan based on the patient's response.
  • Provides education to patients and families regarding patient abilities and the need for assistance and continued therapeutic intervention.
  • Consults with physicians on patient's evaluations, progress and complications with treatment.
  • Maintains medical and departmental records according to department policies and procedures.
  • Participate in patient care conferences, department meetings and department and hospital in-service.
  • Communicate with other professional staff and the patient's family/support system to provide continuity of care.

Work Experience:

3–5 years of practical Occupational Therapist experience.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in OT required, master’s preferred
  • Licensed OT in State of IL required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Ability to communicate with staff at all organizational levels
  • CPR and NBCOT required
