Insurance Coordinator at VSM Management LLC – Newman, Georgia

Coweta Dentistry is looking for an insurance coordinator to join our team!

As an Insurance Coordinator, you will ensure the patients insurance is verified thoroughly and in a timely manner. The IC communicates with the front office team when patients are maxed out or ineligible for services. The IC calls patients to get updated insurance information when inactive or ineligible. The IC enters data using Dentrix benefit and coverage tables. The IC uploads completed insurance verification forms into patients documents centers. This is a Part time position with potential to move into full time.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• 1 year experience with dental insurance verification preferred
• Must be detail oriented and organized
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure
• Must have experience with Dentrix.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and desk top publishing
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Must pass criminal background check

Preferred Education and Experience

• Knowledge of dental/medical technology and procedure codes.
• Proficient with data entry.
• Driven and works with a sense of urgency.
• Has the ability to multi-task.
• Professional, courteous, and approachable demeanor.
