The Role

We are currently recruiting for Skilled Labourers who have formwork and concrete experience. This will start in early March and preference will be given to candidates who live in or around Gordondale, AB.

Shift TBD, 12 hours/day

Compensation/Benefits

• Wages are based on experience.
• Overtime at 1.5 x after 8 hours per day
• Health, dental, vision, travel benefits (50/50 split) after 90 days.
• 10% vacation and stat holiday pay on all regular hours worked.
• Weekly pay
• Long term disability, AD&D, life insurance & dependent life Insurance after 90 days

Responsibilities

• Read and understand site-specific instructions prior to each shift
• Site cleaning and preparation
• Digging and trenching
• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Experience/Qualifications

• Valid drivers license and a clean drivers abstract
• Preference will be given to candidates who live local to Gordondale
• Previous experience working around heavy equipment is an asset
• Ensure a safe team environment
• Adhere to all company and worksite safety and quality processes and procedures
• Strong communication skills
• Previous industrial experience is an asset
• Must have WHMIS 2015, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, and GD2
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
