Family Law and/or Civil Litigation Attorney (5+ Years Experience)

Reeves Lavallee, P.C. is seeking an experienced attorney (5+ years) with substantial practice in Family Law, Civil Litigation, or both. The ideal candidate will be confident in the courtroom, skilled in negotiation, and capable of independently managing a high-volume caseload while maintaining the highest professional standards.

This position is designed for a mid-level to senior attorney who is comfortable handling matters from intake through resolution, including trial where necessary. Applicants must demonstrate strong litigation skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to guide clients through complex and emotionally charged legal disputes.

$86,000 - $120,000 yearly

• Independently manage a full caseload of family law and/or civil litigation matters
• Appear in Probate & Family Court and District/Superior Court as required
• Draft and argue motions, evidentiary hearings, and trials
• Handle divorce, custody, child support, alimony, contempt, modification, restraining orders, and removal matters
• Manage real estate issues related to divorce (equity division, partition, escrow disputes)
• Conduct discovery, depositions, and settlement negotiations
• Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and judgments with precision and efficiency
• Strategically advise clients and develop litigation plans
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure organized and timely case progression

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar
• Minimum 5 years of substantive experience in Family Law and/or Civil Litigation
• Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills
• Proven ability to manage cases independently
• Experience handling high-conflict matters
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure
• Experience with real estate issues in divorce strongly preferred
