Job Description:
The Administrative and Inventory Specialist serves customers by providing product information, processing orders and resolving product and service problems at the SUS site in Tacoma. This position provides support to account and sales managers as necessary to help manage and grow the customer base. This person is also responsible for maintaining inventory levels for stock and orders.
Role Definition:
  • To ship customer orders, make sure items shipped match with paperwork, Inspect and report any unacceptable quality.
  • To Receive and log all items come in at our location.
  • To update orders at our systems and report any discrepancies.
  • Be a liaison between account managers and production team
  • Update inventory data to third party web sites (if needed) and provide inventory status reports to account managers and reps as needed
  • Support, and maintain inventory levels and coordinate replenishment needs
  • Coordinate with point-of-sale expert to determine mins/maxes of inventory levels
  • Coordinate, plan, and execute distribution operations as per company procedures
  • Support inventory receiving and shipping as well as strategizing stock plans
  • cross train across multiple disciplines including product finishing, embellishment, shipping and receiving
  • Provide QA support for orders moving through production
  • Provide back-up customer service and product expertise to customers
  • Update and maintain administrative spreadsheets
Qualifications:
  • Superior organization and attention to detail
  • Proven customer service and problem-solving experience
  • Excellent professionalism, listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly disposition
  • Strong MS Office skills especially Excel
  • On a regular basis, requires the ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stand for a minimum of 6–8 hours, and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong time management skills, including the abilities to multi-task and prioritize
  • Desire to learn multiple facets of production and administration
  • Flexibility to pivot from one role to another throughout the day
