Responsibilities

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all daily maintenance operations of the residence to ensure a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for clients.

This position requires technical training, excellent coordination and follow-up skills, decision-making ability, and a customer-oriented focus.

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for coordinating all essential functions to offer first-class service to our residents. This will include corrective actions, legal-technical maintenance, and preventive measures.

  • Provide support in signing contracts with suppliers and third parties for the maintenance area.

  • Contract and schedule mandatory regulatory inspections and their corresponding certificates of conformity.

  • Responsible for supervising and monitoring both internal staff under their charge and external maintenance companies.

  • Coordinate and follow up on daily operations and corrective maintenance incidents (electricity, plumbing, painting, etc.).

  • Daily monitoring of operations with subcontractors (technical-legal maintenance).

  • Review and file annual technical-legal maintenance reports.

  • Conduct quality, safety, and preventive inspections on a daily, monthly, and annual basis.

  • Manage orders and budgets.

  • Inspect and coordinate corrective work performed by external companies.

  • Support the management of the hotel/residence to ensure compliance with local and/or national legal requirements related to the activity.



Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Technical training appropriate for the position.

  • Extensive experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar role within hotels, student housing, flex living, or similar environments.

  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite.

  • Strong ability for coordination, follow-up, and supervision.

  • High level of English, Portuguese and Spanish, spoken and written.
