This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Enterprise Apps, Workday Architect in the United States.
This role sits at the center of enterprise HR technology strategy, leading the architecture, configuration, and evolution of Workday and integrated HR systems across a complex global organization. You will act as the primary technical authority for HR applications, ensuring seamless alignment between business needs, IT standards, and enterprise data governance. The position requires deep Workday expertise combined with strong HR process knowledge to support end-to-end systems spanning talent, compensation, recruiting, payroll, and learning. You will partner closely with HR, IT, and Finance leaders to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performing solutions. This is a highly influential role where you will drive system modernization, integration strategy, and data integrity across critical enterprise platforms. Success in this position requires both strategic architectural thinking and strong hands-on technical capability in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Lead the architecture, design, and continuous improvement of Workday and integrated HR systems across multiple functional domains.
- Oversee Workday configuration, testing, deployment, and enhancement across modules such as HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Learning, Talent, and Absence.
- Manage end-to-end integrations between Workday and enterprise systems including SAP, payroll providers, finance platforms, and identity management tools.
- Ensure system stability, scalability, and performance through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization efforts.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between HR, IT, and business stakeholders for system enhancements and support needs.
- Define and enforce HR data governance standards, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with regulatory and audit requirements.
- Develop reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytics to support HR and business decision-making.
- Support audits by maintaining documentation, system controls, and compliance readiness (including SOX and GDPR requirements).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of hands-on Workday and HR systems experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Workday configuration, integrations, reporting, and security design.
- Proven experience integrating Workday with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), payroll, and identity management platforms.
- Deep understanding of HR processes including Core HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Learning, and Payroll.
- Strong technical skills in Workday Studio, EIB, Report Writer, and related integration tools.
- Experience leading system upgrades, enhancements, and cross-functional IT/HR initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of data governance, security roles, and compliance frameworks such as SOX and GDPR.
- Workday certifications (HCM, Reporting, Integrations, Compensation) and Workday Extend experience are strongly preferred.
- Competitive base salary range: $145,300 – $181,600 annually.
