Job Description
Lead Program Manager - Remote
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote Program Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive significant changes in agricultural practices aimed at reducing emissions and enhancing productivity. You will be instrumental in crafting and executing the strategy for agricultural nitrogen transformation, translating complex scientific principles into actionable projects. Your work will have an immediate impact on both climate goals and food security, making a difference for communities around the world. This position requires a blend of scientific acumen, strategic vision, and exceptional organizational capabilities.
Accountabilities- Design, manage, and evaluate a portfolio of complex initiatives.
- Contribute to program strategy development and implementation.
- Organize and coordinate workshops, panels, and webinars.
- Provide scientific guidance to ensure technical rigor.
- Conduct primary research and synthesize findings for program strategy.
- Support tracking of field development and research prioritization.
- Represent the program at external events such as conferences.
- 7+ years of professional and research experience, including graduate work.
- Masters or Ph.D. in agricultural sciences, environmental sciences, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex initiatives.
- Technical knowledge of crop and/or livestock systems.
- Experience in designing or managing large-scale research initiatives.
- Experience working with nonprofit, academic, philanthropic, or policy organizations.
- $130,000-$150,000 annual salary.
