POSITION: Property Marketing Manager

JOB SUMMARY: The Property Marketing Manager is a client-facing role that oversees integral aspects of Cross Street’s (CS) strategic planning initiatives for its multifamily portfolio. Primary aspects of this role include developing the property marketing strategy, strategizing communication plans for Property Management and Ownership with the Marketing Team, and spearheading lead flow testing and optimization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Property Marketing & Communication with Clients:

  • Primary liaison for communication with Clients / Ownership for all Property Marketing needs
  • Coordinates marketing changes with Ownership / Property Management for asset takeovers.
  • Attends Client meetings; responsible for delivering marketing updates to the client and leading the discussion around each.
  • Helps develop a smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for properties, ensuring the accurate transfer of marketing assets and thorough communication with Ownership.
  • Curates monthly marketing reports for assigned properties.

Marketing Management:

  • Conducts monthly reviews for successful Zillow optimization and management including: any invoices and/or bills with Accounting, contract confirmation with Leasing Managers and other team members, and performance calls as needed.
  • Oversees and develops budgets for portfolios.
  • Ensures consistency between team members through the use of a project management tool and CRM software.
  • Collaborates and supports the Marketing Team for seamless coordination between aspects of marketing operations and strategic planning.

Social Media

  • Engages with Clients, developing their social media goals into actionable plans.
  • Executes digital advertising initiatives through strategic involvement of vendors.
  • Curates engaging content for property and company social media accounts.
  • Ensures social media handles are appropriately secured and assigned.
  • Assists with the Marketing Team’s strategic initiative for social media and advertising.

Reputation:

  • Implements strategies for maintaining a positive online reputation.
  • Conducts lead flow testing to enhance property marketing strategies.
  • Optimizes lead management for improved property performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5-7 years of Property Marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Art, Communications, or other relevant area (years of experience in lieu)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Marketing processes and requirements
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience in Canva, Photoshop, social media, and Zoho a plus
  • Experience managing vendors and clients
  • Well-developed organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to prioritize work effectively and adjust to multiple demands
  • Self-starter with high initiative, and a focus on collaboration
  • Ability to maintain a positive approach to work challenges and seeks out process improvements

AVAILABILITY AND WORK HOURS:

  • Typically works in an office setting during regular business hours, although may work evenings or weekends if necessary.
  • Ability to access emails on weekends and be available to resolve emergency issues only

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary (standing and/or seated) position for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate machinery and/or equipment that requires the constant use of hands/fingers/wrists.
  • Ability to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitors.
