The Pharmaceutical Account Relations Executive serves as the primary point of contact between the company and its pharmaceutical manufacturer representatives, GPO contacts, and wholesaler partners. This role is responsible for growing and maintaining the company's drug formulary, leading the onboarding of new medications across all infusion sites, and ensuring every location is properly enrolled in applicable rebate and discount programs. The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship builder with strong organizational skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of accounts, enrollments, and program activities simultaneously. Must be located in FL.
Manufacturer, GPO & Wholesaler Relations- Serve as the primary liaison for all pharmaceutical manufacturer representatives, GPO contacts, and wholesaler partners across the company's full drug formulary
- Own day-to-day account management — including routine communication, program enrollment, contract updates, and issue resolution
- Interface regularly with the company's drug distributor to manage ordering activity, resolve pricing discrepancies, coordinate contract alignment, and ensure uninterrupted formulary access across all sites
- Conduct regular business reviews and check-ins with manufacturer and GPO reps to assess contract performance, identify new program opportunities, and stay ahead of drug launches, biosimilar entries, and promotional programs
- Represent the company professionally in all external partner interactions, positioning the organization as an engaged and preferred account
- Monitor program eligibility requirements and renewal timelines to prevent lapses in rebate or discount access
- Track rebate terms, discount tiers, and volume thresholds, flagging opportunities to maximize program value
- Lead cross-functional evaluation of new medications for formulary addition, collaborating with clinical, billing, intake, and operations teams to assess clinical fit, reimbursement viability, and operational feasibility
- Research drug pricing benchmarks, payer coverage policies, prior authorization requirements, and manufacturer contract availability for drugs under consideration
- Coordinate with billing and revenue cycle teams to confirm coding, reimbursement rates, and insurance coverage before new medications are introduced
- Maintain a pipeline tracker capturing all drugs under evaluation, including status, stakeholder feedback, open items, and target decision timelines
- Work with manufacturer reps to facilitate new product introductions, including securing clinical resources, reimbursement support, and contract access
- Complete manufacturer, GPO, and wholesaler enrollment applications for all company infusion sites, ensuring every location is credentialed and eligible for contracted pricing and rebate programs
- Manage the end-to-end new site setup process — coordinating required documentation, DEA and state licensure submissions, and account activation with manufacturer and GPO partners
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date rosters across all programs, including location details, DEA numbers, NPI numbers, and authorized contacts
- Proactively manage roster changes driven by site openings, closures, or relocations, and conduct regular audits to identify and correct any gaps or outdated information to minimize operational disruption
- Maintain a centralized repository of all manufacturer and GPO contracts, enrollment records, site rosters, and program correspondence
- Perform timely and accurate data entry to keep all records current across internal systems and manufacturer/GPO portals
- Generate routine status reports on enrollment completeness, program participation, and roster accuracy for leadership
- 3-4 years of experience in account management, manufacturer or GPO relations, specialty pharmacy, or a similar healthcare-facing role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, sites, and programs simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — comfortable engaging regularly with external manufacturer and GPO representatives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, particularly Excel/Sheets (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
- High attention to detail in data entry, roster management, and documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Familiarity with infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, or buy-and-bill drug programs
- Prior experience with GPOs, drug distributors, or pharmaceutical manufacturers
- Understanding of rebate structures, contract tiers, and discount program mechanics
- Working knowledge of drug pricing benchmarks (WAC, ASP, AWP) and buy-and-bill reimbursement
