Tier 1 Clinical Support Assistant, FT40 in Cookeville, Tennessee at CAMPBELL CLINIC PC

Note: This is a full-time position.

POSITION SUMMARY

Serves as a physician's clerical and clinical support to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.

• Assists the physician in the clinic with patient care
• Answers and responds appropriately to callers' needs including calling in prescriptions as directed by the physician
• Manages all physicians' written and electronic materials and maintains patient charts
• Manages physician calendar
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Ability to work in a cooperative manner with others
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required.

Experience: 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment required. 1 year of clerical experience required.

Certifications: MA, LPN, or RN certification required.

Computer Skills: Must be computer literate. Intermediate computer skills are required.
