We are seeking an experienced Level 2 Field Service Engineer to join our growing team. This role requires a seasoned professional with at least 5 years of hands-on experience servicing medical imaging equipment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining diagnostic imaging systems—including but not limited to X-ray, mammography, CT, and MRI—and capable of working independently in healthcare environments. What You’ll Do:
• Perform inspections, calibrations, installations, upgrades, and repairs on a range of radiology imaging equipment (X-ray, Mammo, CT, MRI)
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with minimal supervision
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards
• Collaborate with OEM technical support and healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding service
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation for compliance and reporting
• Provide equipment demonstrations and in-service training for healthcare staff when needed What You’ll Need (Requirements):• Minimum 5 years of experience in servicing diagnostic imaging equipment required
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field—or equivalent military/technical experience
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair imaging systems independently
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and computer skills; adept with test equipment and diagnostic software
• Familiarity with OEM service documentation, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, flexible, and able to manage travel schedules (including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed)
