Compensation:

• $15-17/hr

Position Summary:
The Dental Assistant primarily supports the hygiene team, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality care during hygiene procedures. This role also provides chairside assistance to the doctor as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the hygienist during procedures, including patient preparation and support
• Prepare and break down hygiene operatories between patients
• Ensure patient comfort and create a positive experience throughout hygiene visits
• Take dental radiographs and assist with charting as needed
• Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols
• Support the doctor with chairside assisting at least one day a week
• Help manage patient flow and maintain an efficient clinical schedule
• Provide patient education and post-treatment instructions

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a dental assistant.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and organization.
• Reliability: Well-organized and reliable.
• Certification: X-ray certified.
