In this role, you will take ownership of strategic client relationships and drive the performance and growth of key accounts within a fast-paced digital marketing environment. You will act as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring seamless communication, strong commercial alignment, and long-term value creation. The position combines strategic account leadership with hands-on campaign oversight, requiring a strong balance of analytical thinking, commercial acumen, and operational execution. You will design and optimize cross-channel digital campaigns, identify new growth opportunities, and ensure strong performance against KPIs. Working within an agile and international team, you will collaborate closely with internal specialists to deliver impactful marketing solutions. This role is highly client-facing, strategic, and focused on driving measurable business outcomes in a dynamic agency setting.
You will be responsible for leading key client accounts end-to-end, ensuring both strategic growth and operational excellence across all digital marketing activities. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients while coordinating internal teams to deliver high-performing, data-driven campaigns.
- Lead and manage key client accounts, acting as the primary strategic and commercial point of contact.
- Develop and execute strategic account roadmaps, including regular business reviews and performance discussions.
- Identify and unlock new revenue opportunities through upselling, cross-selling, and value-based account development.
- Plan, manage, and optimize cross-channel digital campaigns aligned with client marketing objectives.
- Oversee budget allocation, campaign performance, and KPI tracking to ensure measurable results.
- Conduct audience, market, and channel analyses to inform media strategy and campaign planning.
- Ensure accurate project documentation, reporting, time tracking, and commercial accountability.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to improve processes and share knowledge within the account team.
You bring solid experience in digital marketing, account management, or media planning, with a strong ability to manage client relationships and drive measurable campaign performance. You are analytical, structured, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, international environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in account management, media planning, or digital marketing roles.
- Proven track record in managing and delivering successful digital marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital media trends, platforms, and advertising technologies.
- Experience with cross-channel campaign planning (digital and offline media is a plus).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships confidently.
- Fluency in German (native level) and strong English proficiency.
- Nice to have: experience with Google Marketing Platform tools (DV360, CM360, SA360, GA360) and upselling/cross-selling in client accounts.
