Logistics Coordinator

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator in United States.

This role is at the center of domestic and international logistics operations, ensuring the efficient, compliant, and timely movement of goods across complex supply chains. You will coordinate transportation activities across multiple modes, working closely with carriers, freight forwarders, vendors, and internal teams to execute shipments with precision. The position requires strong attention to detail, operational urgency, and the ability to manage high-volume logistics in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. You will play a key role in optimizing transportation decisions, controlling costs, and ensuring service excellence across customer programs. This role also involves proactive problem-solving, shipment tracking, and continuous communication with stakeholders to avoid delays and disruptions. It is a highly hands-on coordination role where adaptability, ownership, and strong organizational skills are essential.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will manage end-to-end logistics coordination activities across domestic and international shipments while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across all transportation workflows.

  • Coordinate domestic OTR freight operations, including LTL and FTL quoting, dispatching, and shipment execution using system-based tools and automation platforms.
  • Manage relationships with carriers, brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely movement of goods across domestic and international lanes (air, ocean, parcel, truckload).
  • Prepare and review international shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, SLIs, and EEI filings in compliance with trade regulations.
  • Monitor shipment milestones, proactively identify delays, and resolve issues with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Balance inbound and outbound facility volumes to maintain capacity limits and support smooth warehouse operations.
  • Analyze transportation costs and service performance to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of all shipment documentation and coordinate with compliance teams to mitigate risk.
  • Support invoice review, reconciliation, and transportation cost validation processes.
  • Leverage logistics systems and AI-enabled tools to improve workflow efficiency, tracking, and reporting.
  • Continuously troubleshoot logistics challenges and contribute to process improvements across transportation and fulfillment activities.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong logistics coordination experience, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage complex transportation workflows in a fast-moving, technology-enabled environment.

  • Experience coordinating high-volume domestic and international shipments (LTL, FTL, parcel, air, and ocean).
  • Strong knowledge of freight operations, carrier management, and transportation scheduling.
  • Experience preparing shipping documentation such as invoices, packing lists, SLIs, and export filings.
  • Familiarity with trade compliance concepts such as Incoterms, HTS/Schedule B codes, and customs documentation (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience with transportation cost tracking, invoicing, and claims management.
  • Comfortable using digital systems and adopting AI tools to improve operational efficiency.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package (based on experience).
  • Opportunities for professional growth in a rapidly scaling logistics and technology-driven environment.
  • Exposure to domestic and international supply chain operations across diverse clients and shipment types.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented work culture focused on operational excellence.
  • Opportunity to work with advanced logistics systems and AI-enabled tools.
  • Training and development opportunities to expand expertise in global logistics and compliance.
