Engineer Desktop Deployment Details

Essential Job Duties:

• Essential skills are packaging and deployment via SCCM
• Testing and deploying OS and application patches
• Packaging, updating and deployment of software
• Ensure desktop environment standard apps are patched regularly
• Update standard images
• Package, update and deploy applications via SCCM
• Support and maintain software deployment system (SCCM)
• Investigate and resolve tickets that are escalated
• Produce documentation for Desktop Support and Helpdesk
• Testing and deploying OS and application patches
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows based environments.
• Experience with Enterprise Microsoft Active Directory
• Experience with Microsoft SCCM
• Solid scripting skills
• Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
• Flexible work schedule as required. May be on call.
