Engineer Desktop Deployment Details
Essential Job Duties:
- Essential skills are packaging and deployment via SCCM
- Testing and deploying OS and application patches
- Packaging, updating and deployment of software
- Ensure desktop environment standard apps are patched regularly
- Update standard images
- Package, update and deploy applications via SCCM
- Support and maintain software deployment system (SCCM)
- Investigate and resolve tickets that are escalated
- Produce documentation for Desktop Support and Helpdesk
- Testing and deploying OS and application patches
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
- Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows based environments.
- Experience with Enterprise Microsoft Active Directory
- Experience with Microsoft SCCM
- Solid scripting skills
- Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
- Flexible work schedule as required. May be on call.
