Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for District Energy, aligning with commercial goals and regional priorities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, tracking performance, ensuring timely delivery, and optimizing margins.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, consulting engineers, and end-users, positioning solutions as the preferred choice.
  • Identify new business opportunities and leverage infrastructure projects, government funding, and market trends to drive growth.
  • Lead technical workshops, product demos, and customer seminars to showcase energy-efficient solutions and lifecycle benefits.
  • Collaborate with sales enablement and internal teams to ensure consistent use of tools and processes across the business.
  • Gather customer feedback and market insights to inform solution development, marketing strategies, and product improvements.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Significant experience in business development or sales within HVAC, energy, or construction sectors, with knowledge of heating/cooling systems preferred.
  • Proven ability to grow accounts, close large projects, and meet sales targets within District Energy or related markets.
  • Strong understanding of UK energy market regulations, sustainability practices, and energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in industrial or commercial environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and project management software.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the UK to meet clients and support business development activities.
