About This Position
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Technical Engagement Manager (Land Management) in United States.
This role is responsible for leading the full lifecycle of software implementation projects, ensuring clients successfully adopt and optimize complex land management solutions. You will act as the primary bridge between business needs and technical execution, translating client requirements into tailored system configurations and actionable deliverables. The position involves close collaboration with stakeholders to design, deploy, and refine software solutions that align with operational and regulatory requirements. You will guide clients through system setup, training, and adoption while ensuring strong alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets. Operating in a dynamic and client-facing environment, you will manage multiple priorities simultaneously and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement. This role combines technical expertise, project leadership, and consultative problem-solving to drive successful implementations and long-term client value.
- Lead and manage end-to-end implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget constraints.
- Engage with clients post-sale to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and define tailored system configurations.
- Translate “as-is” workflows into optimized “to-be” processes within the software, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate requirements workshops, system demonstrations, and Train-the-Trainer sessions to enable client self-sufficiency.
- Document functional requirements, process flows, system configurations, and project artifacts to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Coordinate closely with development teams to align user stories, manage sprint delivery, and track enhancements.
- Oversee user acceptance testing, project reporting, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years of experience in client-facing technical or implementation roles, ideally supported by a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Strong knowledge of land management concepts such as parcels and rights-of-way is essential, along with a solid understanding of software development practices and system configuration. You demonstrate strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—are required to effectively engage with clients and internal teams. You are a proactive self-starter with strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence decision-makers. Experience in project management, stakeholder coordination, and working with contractors or suppliers is highly valued. You are detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of identifying process improvements while maintaining strong working relationships across teams.
