Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the Marketing team by working with the Marketing Product Director executing the comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned with the CSO and VieMed’s business growth objectives.
- Partner closely with the clinical, sales, and business development divisions to ensure they have the tools, messaging, and resources needed to successfully communicate VieMed’s value to referral partners.
- Lead the development of an annual marketing plan and budget designed to maximize measurable ROI in strategic initiatives, sales support, and interdepartmental marketing assistance.
- Build and lead a data-driven marketing organization focused on revenue impact, brand strength, and clinical program adoption.
- Establish clear KPIs and measurement tools to evaluate the performance and ROI of marketing initiatives.
Sales Enablement & Revenue Support:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive sales enablement library, including:
o Clinical program overviews
o Payor and partner presentations
o Case studies and clinical success stories
o ROI calculators and economic value materials
o New product/company rollouts
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify opportunities where marketing can improve conversion rates, partner engagement, and referral growth.
- Support the rollout of new services, technologies/patient application, and care models with coordinated marketing and sales support materials.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Serve as a strategic marketing partner to multiple departments, including:
o Clinical operations
o Quality and outcomes teams
o Managed care
o Technology and innovation
o Human resources
o Finance and strategy
- Work with department leaders to translate operational achievements and clinical results into meaningful marketing and communication assets.
- Support internal initiatives through effective change management communication strategies, especially when launching new programs, care models, or technologies.
- Ensure internal stakeholders receive marketing support needed to achieve their departmental objectives.
Clinical Outcomes & Value-Based Care Messaging:
- Partner with clinical, quality, and data teams to identify, track, and communicate key patient outcome metrics.
- Develop marketing strategies that highlight VieMed’s role in improving:
o Patient outcomes
o Hospital length of stay management and readmission rates
o Care quality
o Total cost of care
- Translate complex clinical data into clear, compelling messaging for external audiences including payors, health systems, and referral partners.
- Promote VieMed’s clinical excellence through thought leadership, case studies, and strategic communications.
Brand Strategy & External Communications:
- Protect and strengthen the VieMed brand identity across all marketing channels.
- Manage corporate communications, media relations, digital marketing, and social media initiatives.
- Ensure consistent messaging across:
Website and digital channels
Sales materials
Corporate communications
Partner communications
- Lead initiatives that highlight VieMed’s clinical achievements, patient outcomes, and innovation leadership.
Marketing Operations & Performance:
- Build efficient marketing processes that improve workflow, collaboration, and responsiveness to internal teams.
- Manage the marketing and communications budget in alignment with strategic priorities.
- Implement marketing technology, analytics, and reporting systems to track campaign performance and revenue contribution.
- Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the marketing organization.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement enterprise marketing and communications strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Build brand equity through effective use of advertising, digital marketing, media relations, and internal communications.
- Maintain brand standards and ensure consistent messaging across the organization.
- Provide marketing and communications support to internal departments and executive leadership.
- Coordinate corporate communications initiatives and strategic messaging.
- Work with CSO and other members of VMD’s Executive team to spearhead crisis communication planning and response when necessary.
- Implement tools and reporting processes that measure the ROI of marketing activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the continued growth and success of VieMed.
Required Qualifications:
- Related degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in marketing and communications, preferably within healthcare.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing marketing teams and strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience building ROI-driven marketing programs that support sales growth.
- Strong understanding of healthcare delivery models, clinical outcomes, and value-based care.
- Proven ability to translate complex healthcare data into compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Access to Protected Health Information (PHI):
- This position will require the employee to handle Protected Health Information (PHI) for duties related to document and report preparation. Policies and procedures will be strictly adhered to make sure PHI is protected as required by the HIPAA Privacy Rule.
Working Conditions
- This position will work in an office environment.
