About This Position

Description:

GECAC is the largest anti-poverty organization in Erie County, PA. With a budget of approximately $12 million and more than 110 staff, we help people and change lives on a daily basis. GECAC helps people throughout Erie County break the cycle of poverty, be self-sufficient, and achieve financial independence. There are two available positions with flexible hours, running from April 2026 to September 2026.

Job Summary:

· Perform select workforce development services for the Erie County Bright Futures Program

· Assist with information and orientation sessions for program participants

· Provide mentoring to ECBF youth employees and assistance to ECBF partner employers for the duration of the program

· Help coordinate workshops and trainings

· Assist in data collection and reporting

Qualifications:

· High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred

· Excellent customer service skills

· Highly motivated with strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a team environment

· Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and through graphic presentations

· Knowledge of community resources

· Proficiency with MS Office

· Flexible schedule

· Must have own transportation, with a valid PA driver’s license and auto insurance as required

Additional requirements: Act 33, 34 & FBI Clearances. Must meet Immigration Law requirements.

Pay $18.19 per hour.
