About This Position
Summary
The Regional Sales Manager operates as the primary account management contact with their respective customer accounts. This role promotes company products and services to prospective and existing clients. It is the duty of the Regional Sales Manager to drive customer loyalty and business retention. This position requires the ability to implement sales strategy initiatives and drive successful performance across their designated region. The Regional Sales Manager role models MISA’s sales culture building blocks.
Responsibilities:
· Executes sales and education of Diverse wine portfolio to on-premise and off-premise accounts
· Maintains deep knowledge of MISA products and accounts
· Bolsters & Builds on existing Customer relationships
· Commits to continuous learning in the areas of Wine & Sales
· Expands account base monthly
· Explores new opportunities weekly allowing for MISA’s market expansion
· Discovers and identifies customer business growth needs
· Develops a business growth plan for each customer
· Completes inventory management
· Handles Sales Order Management
· Forecasts customer product needs
· Performs product procurement and fulfillment
· Trains MISA sales team in areas of customer relationships, portfolio features, and benefits
· Sources new products and opportunities
· Focuses on innovation built on research and development
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements:Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
· 5+ years of leadership sales experience
· Experience in Wine and Spirits
· Expert sales and negotiation skills
· In-depth knowledge of selling strategies
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· Ability to foster positive relationships
· Exceptional customer service skills
· Ability to consistently set goals and objectives
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
