THE POSITION

Our Cruise Advisors play a critical role in helping guests discover and book their next voyage. You’ll work with inbound and outbound sales opportunities, guide guests through the booking process, and help them find the voyage that fits their interests and travel goals.

Base Salary: $50,000

This role is also eligible for commissions and performance incentives, providing meaningful earning potential for high-performing advisors.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Remote / Work From Home

We are prioritizing candidates located in the Mountain Time Zone or those willing to work Mountain Time hours.

Evening and weekend availability (including Saturdays and Sundays) may be required based on business needs.

WHAT GREAT CRUISE ADVISORS (RESERVATIONS SALES) DO

Successful advisors in this role:
  • Confidently close cruise sales by understanding guest needs and overcoming objections

  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences before, during, and after the booking process

  • Manage inbound calls, outbound follow-ups, and digital guest communication

  • Navigate reservation and CRM systems (CruisePal/Resco) while speaking with guests

  • Maintain detailed documentation of guest interactions

  • Provide support for pre-cruise planning and guest service matters when needed

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We strongly prefer candidates with cruise or travel reservations sales experience.

Ideal candidates often have experience as:

  • Cruise Advisor

  • Cruise Consultant

  • Cruise Vacation Planner

  • Travel Advisor specializing in cruises

  • Cruise Reservations Agent

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong phone sales and closing ability

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Comfortable navigating CRM and reservation systems while speaking with guests

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Experience:

  • 2+ years of reservations or inside sales experience

  • Cruise industry or travel industry sales experience strongly preferred
