About This Position
The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all electrical installations, maintenance, and repair activities across multiple job sites. This senior role involves managing multiple crews of electricians, ensuring compliance with safety codes, project specifications, and industry standards. The superintendent coordinates and supervises daily operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities include overseeing timesheets, reporting progress, and maintaining clear communication with project coordinators and clients. The superintendent ensures that all electrical work meets the highest standards, while handling the administrative and operational aspects of the job. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple teams are essential for success in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products. Duties and responsibilities for our Safety Technicians include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and manage all electrical crews on the project, ensuring work is completed according to safety codes, specifications, and industry standards.
- Coordinate daily operations and workflows, ensuring tasks are delegated appropriately and executed on schedule.
- Review and approve timesheets, ensuring accurate reporting of hours worked and project progress.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the project teams, clients, and project coordinators, facilitating clear communication and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
- Monitor project progress and adjust to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of electrical work.
- Provide regular reports on project status, including timelines, milestones, and any potential delays or complications.
- Ensure all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are available and organized for the crew to work efficiently.
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.
- Resolve conflicts or issues between crew members, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct site inspections to assess quality, compliance, and adherence to project specifications, providing guidance to crews as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments or contractors on-site to ensure coordination and smooth execution of electrical tasks.

Experience, Qualifications and Key Competencies
- High School Diploma preferred but not required.
- 30-hour Construction OSHA required. NFPA 70E is required. NCCER is preferred but not required.
- 4+yearsas an electrical supervisor or super intendent are highly desirable.
- 6+ years of electrical experience in industrial settings
- Work installing conveyor systems or with EV batteries highly preferred
- Experience in scoping jobs, ordering materials, and managing project requirements.
- Must have previously worked on energized circuits and equipment in accordance with safety policies.
- In-depth understanding of and up-to-date knowledge of NEC rules and codes.
- OSHA 30
- Valid driver’s license
- NFPA 70E certification
- Work on energized circuits and equipment as outlined in Safety Policy
- Understanding and current knowledge of NEC rules and codes
- Experience of scoping jobs and ordering materials
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently without supervision and meet tight deadlines
- Able to deal with people tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- Must be willing to travel
- Must pass drug screen
- Coordinate eye-hand movements; Use hands and fingers fully; Reach for, manipulate, and handle objects; Stoop, lay, bend, squat, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl for unforeseeable periods of time; Climb and maintain body balance on ladders, scaffolding, or other high structures; See and hear well (either naturally or with correction); and Lift and carry objects weighing up to 75lbs

This position is a traveling indoor/outdoor position and will continually face adverse working conditions in the field and will be exposed to dirt, noise, fumes, heat, cold, etc.
