AutoCAD Drafter at Progressive Roofing – Dallas, Texas

We areseeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to support our project teams by producing accurate construction drawings and documentation. The ideal candidate has strong AutoCAD skills, a solid understanding of construction drawings, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel in a fast-paced environment.

• Create and revise construction drawings using AutoCAD

• Develop shop drawings, details, and as-built drawings

• Interpret sketches, redlines, specifications, and field information

• Coordinate drawing updates based on RFIs, change orders, and site conditions

• Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project requirements, and applicable codes

• Assist with permit submittals and construction documentation packages

• Maintain organized drawing files and version control

• Collaborate with internal teams to meet project schedules and deadlines

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting required)

• Ability to read and interpret construction and architectural drawings

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Associate degree or certification in Drafting, CAD, or related field

• Experience in construction, roofing, architectural, or engineering drafting

• Familiarity with Bluebeam, Revit, or other CAD/BIM tools

• Knowledge of construction methods and building codes
