About the role

We are looking for a fixed term Sales Engineer colleague for our Marine business unit. In this role you will be responsible for creating technical quotations for new building maritime projects in close co-operation with the Area Sales Managers, including creating HI-FOG system designs and dimensioning, written quotations, as well as cost and profit calculations, and participating sales negotiations with customers giving technical support.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Receive and review customer RFQ’s.
• Prepare and define the HI-FOG system based on the specifications and relevant rules and regulations.
• Prepare the commercial and technical proposals using relevant quotation tools and documentation.
• Update sales cases in CRM tool.
• Assist Area Sales Manager with customer inquiries related to sales cases and support with sales negotiations.
• Manage smaller sales cases independently case by case as assigned.
  

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Strong technical knowledge & skills, either from related work experience or studies
• Excellent interpersonal abilities with fluent English, both spoken and written
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and AutoCAD
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Detail-oriented and forward-looking approach
• Ability to work systematically with multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Sales and customer-oriented personality
  
  Considered as an advantage:

• Engineering degree, especially Mechanical Engineering
• Finnish language knowledge

• Previous experience from the Marine industry
• Previous experience with technical sales
