Position Overview: The People Experience Coordinator supports daily office operations and provides hands-on administrative and operational support across core People Operations functions. This role contributes to a welcoming, efficient workplace while assisting with HR processes such as onboarding, benefits support, compliance tracking, employee engagement, and recruiting coordination, including traditional phone screenings. Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred
Key Activities:
People Operations & HR Administration
- Maintain employee records in ADP
- Support OSHA logs and safety documentation
- Coordinate onboarding sessions and training schedules
- Support HR projects
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information
Office & Workplace Operations
- Maintain office organization and oversee supply inventory, ordering, and restocking
- Greet visitors and serve as a welcoming first point of contact; answer and route incoming phone calls
- Coordinate conference room scheduling and room setup for meetings and events
- Support general office administration tasks, including invoicing, mail distribution, shipping (FedEx), and postage management
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Support
- Support the Conduct phone screenings using established criteria
- Review resumes and applications
- Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate logistics
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Maintain ATS records
- Support background checks, drug screens, and pre-employment requirements
- Assist with new hire onboarding and first-day readiness
Employee Engagement & Communications
- Administer employee recognition programs
- Assist with company-wide events
- Collaboration with Purpose Committee
- Support internal HR communications
Skills Required:
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Quick learner with the ability to understand construction concepts and industry practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on precision, quality, and continuous improvement.
Professional Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2–4 years of relevant experience
- Experience conducting phone screenings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Experience with ADP and ATS systems preferred.
