We are currently looking for a Microsoft 365 Cloud Engineer in United States.This role offers the opportunity to manage and optimize Microsoft 365 and associated cloud environments for enterprise-scale operations. The Microsoft 365 Cloud Engineer will ensure secure, compliant, and efficient management of cloud identities, devices, and applications while supporting business-critical workflows. You will oversee configurations, security policies, vulnerability remediation, and third-party integrations, acting as a key technical resource for the IT organization. This role combines hands-on technical execution with strategic oversight, providing a chance to influence cloud architecture, enhance security posture, and enable seamless digital collaboration across the company.Accountabilities:
  • Manage Entra ID and Azure AD Connect, overseeing user/group management and directory synchronization.
  • Implement and maintain Conditional Access, application, configuration, and compliance policies across Microsoft 365 services.
  • Administer Intune for mobile device and end-user device management, applying device tags and policy configurations.
  • Define and enforce security policies for Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
  • Remediate vulnerabilities identified by tools such as Rapid7 and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
  • Manage third-party security and collaboration tools, including DUO and Umbrella.
  • Optimize tenant settings, RBAC roles, and overall Microsoft 365 environment for performance, security, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and support cloud operations.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of technical experience in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, or similar cloud technologies.
  • Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 or Office 365 Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of MDM/MAM, security, and compliance policies.
  • Experience managing and remediating vulnerabilities in enterprise cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with third-party tools like DUO, Umbrella, or similar.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation of complex systems.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
