Entry-Level Mobile Tire Technician at Tire Heroes – Des Moines, Iowa

Tire Heroes is an established mobile tire service proudly serving the Des Moines metro for over 6 years. We are 100% local and veteran-owned. Customers can conveniently order tires online through our website (or via phone or text), and then we will bring a complete tire shop to their location in one of our service vehicles -- home or work -- to install them. We only use top-of-the-line tire machines and balancers in our branded vehicles, so we are able to properly & affordably service everything from the lowest-profile tires on sports cars to the largest off-road 38" truck tires.

We are actively seeking individuals in the Des Moines metro area with a mechanical aptitude...training is provided for those who are motivated with a good attitude. Our mobile tire installation vehicles are literally a full-service tire shop on wheels, paired with discount tire shop pricing. Our technicians will install, balance, and repair tires for our customers at their locations. Must have a clean driving record.

• $300 total tax-free towards a benefits package such as medical and dental
• All major holidays and two weeks of paid PTO (after a 90-day probationary period)
• A generous base pay and monthly medical stipend will help put you at the top of the pay scale in this industry.

$18 - $22 hourly DOE

• Travel to customer locations in our branded service vehicles to install new tires, rotations, and/or repairs.
• Ensure accurate and efficient tire installations and balancing for a variety of vehicles.
• Utilize automotive knowledge to inspect tires for damage, wear, and inflation issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work van with all necessary tools and equipment for on-site tire services.

• 2+ years of successful work experience.
• Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment.
• Proven customer service experience.
• Clear background check and clean driving record.
• A customer service background is preferred.
• We will train a qualified candidate.

Tire Heroes combines the convenience of discounted online tire sales with mobile tire installation using our hi-tech service vans which are literally a full-service tire shop on wheels. Our vans are fitted with the latest touchless tire mounting machines and sonar balancers. We also provide full onsite tire repair services as well as TPMS sensor reprogramming or replacement.
