Sr. Principal Legal Counsel - REMOTE

In this role, you will provide essential legal support to the US Commercial Legal team, impacting various sales and marketing initiatives within the medical device industry. Your expertise will guide commercial contracts and government agreements, ensuring strategic alignment and risk mitigation. Accountabilities
  • Provide guidance, structure, draft, and negotiate agreements on strategic opportunities.
  • Advise on Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and related compliance matters.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate contract risks and obligations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with legal Centers of Expertise and compliance professionals.
  • Advise on federal healthcare laws and regulations impacting commercial transactions.
  • Develop and implement training programs related to legal and compliance matters.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor from a recognized US law school and admission to practice law.
  • Licensed to practice in at least one US state or the District of Columbia.
  • 5+ years of experience with commercial contracts in a corporate or law firm setting.
  • Experience with federal government contracts highly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
