Summary of Job Function

The Histologist accessions, processes, cuts, embeds, and stains tissue specimens for review and diagnosis by the Pathologist,

Cytology specimens, including fluids, washings, and brushings are also processed by the Histologist for review and diagnosis by the Pathologist,

Job Requirements

Minimum requirement AS degree, and Histology certification,

Prefer 2-3 years experience in a hospital environment,
