JobSummary:

The Facilities Engineering Intern will gain firsthand experienceby performing routine tasks using

Well-defined standards and procedures under close supervision by aProfessional Engineer or other qualified engineer(s).

At hire or during the Internship, Intern may be assigned to otherengineering or service departments; allowing for direct exposure to otherengineering disciplines or business operations associated with firm in theengineering consulting industry.

JobDuties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in the preparation and review ofmechanical / process / safety drawings;

• Participate in the preparation and review ofmechanical / process calculations;

• Participate in the preparation and review ofequipment and instrument data sheets;

• Participate in the preparation and review ofequipment sizing, line sizing, instrumentation design, construction planning,hydraulic analysis, utility studies and radiation/dispersion analysis;

• Participate in the preparation and review ofequipment, piping and valves specifications;

• Participate in the preparation and review ofequipment list, line list, instrument list, SP Item list, manual valve list andtie-in list;

• Participate in the preparation in the preparationand review of test and commissioning procedures;

• Participate in the review and checking ofvendor drawings and data Utilizing proprietary software for preparation ofdesign, bid and construction deliverable packages;

• Gain exposure to a variety of mechanical,process, instrumentation and control system challenges in the design of Oil andGas facilities;

• Gain exposure to a variety of softwarepackages used in the everyday operations of a Facilities Engineering department.

Qualifications(Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

• Authorization to work in the United Stateswithout sponsorship now or in the future;

• HS Diploma or the Equivalent required;

• Enrollment in a four (4) year baccalaureateprogram for Mechanical or Chemical Engineering at an accredited college oruniversity;

• Accepting graduation dates December 2026 throughMay 2028;

• Candidate must provide a resume as well as thecollege or university transcripts.

Physical Requirements (With orwithout Reasonable Accommodation):

  • Must be able to lift and carry twenty (20) pounds;
  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities which permits employee to communicate effectively;
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time;
  • Sufficient vision or other powers of observation which permits employee to conduct analysis and investigations;
  • Sufficient manual dexterity which permit the employee to perform routine office duties;
  • Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-site locations.
