Job Overview:

  • Schedule: Monday Friday (Overtime and weekends as required).

  • Project Scope: Residential and Commercial Concrete

  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid PA Driver's License.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead residential concrete crews and take full ownership of projects from start to finish. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage people, production, and quality without constant oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effective, clear communication with workers, customers, office and management staff

  • Thorough detailed clean-up from start to finish on the job

  • Working in the field with forming, prepping, finishing or whatever is necessary to keep the job moving

  • Communicate with office regarding status of projects/Schedule upcoming jobs

  • Communicate with customers regarding the status of their projects (when the crew will return etc.)

  • Track material, haulings and machine hours for each job - turn into office upon completion of each job

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers. Direct and lead workers. Assign work to employees.

  • Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety and ensure that specifications are met.

  • Monitor and adhere to all safety requirements

  • Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment, using measuring and marking equipment

  • Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities such as masonry

  • Ensure youre ready for the next day regardless of weather conditions. Have a plan at all times.

  • Upkeep of trucks within your crew

  • Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs

  • Confer with staff to ensure production and personnel problems are resolved

  • Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs

  • Confer with management or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities

  • Order or requisition of materials or supplies. Ensure materials in shop are ready and available.

  • Analyze worker or production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving production methods or implementing motivational plans.

  • Provide assistance to workers engaged in construction or extraction activities, using hand tools or other equipment.

  • Recommend measures to improve production methods to increase efficiency and safety

  • Suggest or initiate personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, or hires

  • Accountable to make sure required measurements are accurate according to plans (i.e. step height, etc.)

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid PA Drivers License

  • Physical

  • High School Diploma

  • Strong physical capability: Job involves climbing, lifting, balancing, twisting, walking, stooping, and handling of materials

  • Cell phone

  • Prior supervisory experience preferred; one year management experience

  • At least 5 years experience in concrete work

  • Jobs may require overtime hours and weekend work
