Albers Aerospace is seeking an IT Systems Administrator II to support the design, administration, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable system performance, supporting secure network operations, and maintaining compliance with cybersecurity and government regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience supporting diverse environments, enterprise systems administration, endpoint management, and network infrastructure within a secure and regulated environment.
This position plays a key role in maintaining operational continuity, supporting cybersecurity initiatives, and enabling technology solutions that support business operations and defense program requirements.
Essential Job Functions:
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise systems including servers, network infrastructure, and cloud platforms.
- Administer Linux based servers.
- Support enterprise applications used by engineering and development teams (e.g., Dassault software, Git servers, ERP platforms, ADFS WAP).
- Administer and support Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Maintain system performance, reliability, and availability through monitoring and proactive maintenance.
- Manage endpoint configurations, security baselines, and remediation activities
- Maintain network infrastructure according to established architecture and security standards.
- Provide after-hours support for system maintenance, upgrades, and incident response when necessary.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for system configurations, policies, and operational procedures.
- Support escalated Help Desk tickets requiring advanced technical resolution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues to maintain operational continuity.
- Serve as Site Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for baseline security audits of classified machines.
- Assist maintaining and updating system configuration management documentation.
- Assist investigating and resolving security incidents or anomalies identified by cybersecurity teams.
- Assist with vulnerability management programs and system hardening initiatives.
- Support security audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory assessments.
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) technology integration projects as required.
- Participate in change management and incident response processes.
Schedule:
- M-F, 9-5 - Central Time. Ability to work after hours during the week and weekends, as the workload requires.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise systems, networks, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience administering Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux server operating systems (Ubuntu, RedHat).
- Familiarity with networking protocols and TCP/IP environments.
- Strong understanding of IT operations processes, including:
- Change management
- Configuration management
- Root cause analysis
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support business-critical systems.
- Certification Requirement
- Must obtain DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+) within 6 months of hire.
- Must be a US Citizen
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- CONUS travel may be required from time to time.

The pay range for this role is:
70,000 - 85,000 USD per year(Albers Aero HQ-Albers Headquarters)
