Summary: Sagamore Spirit is seeking a highly motivated, reliable full-time Distillery Experience Lead I who is a confident, friendly and professional leader/teammate. This role requires a good understanding of customer service and public speaking. Distillery Experience Leads are expected to provide an impeccable level of hospitality to all guests and be exemplary leaders. With this highly interactive role, the right candidate will be great with people, extremely organized, proactive, hardworking, and have the desire to make a difference within the team.
Core Responsibilities:
Starting rate: $23/hour

Core Responsibilities:
- Learn the Sagamore Spirit brand story, product assortment, and distillation process to be able to share that information with visitors
- Assist guests and observe team during the shopping and checkout process in the Visitors Center and Cocktail Bar, providing actionable feedback to team as needed
- Ensure tasting rooms are prepped accurately and on time for guests
- Help guests make reservations and check-in for tours and events, ensuring the team is properly following procedures, assisting and coaching when necessary
- Memorize and retain the Sagamore Spirit Tour Script and additional experiential scripts to provide engaging and accurate tours and tastings
- Working with leadership, help coach the team to provide exceptional customer service and hospitality to ensure our visitor experience is second to none
- Work periodically at off-campus events promoting the brand
- Represent and uphold the Sagamore Spirit brand values in all interactions with teammates and guests, both on and off the distillery campus
- Operate the store operating system accurately and independently daily
- Ability to open and close Visitor Center and Cocktail Bar registers, as well as train others on proper procedures
- Manage inventory, lead accurate monthly inventory audits
- Prepare and publish monthly teammate schedules seamlessly
- Direct new teammates in the onboarding process to properly train on policies and SOPs
- Lead teammates through daily operations and keep consistent weekly/monthly communication
- Work with leadership directly to enhance the visitor experience
- Over the age of 21
- One year of customer service experience, preferably in a leadership role
- Availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule due to the needs of the business
- Must be able to travel regionally, if necessary
- Must be able to lead and speak in front of large groups of people
- Exceptional team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Starting rate: $23/hour
