This role is responsible for driving sales, service revenue, and new business development across a multi-state territory, ensuring consistent year-over-year growth. You will lead strategic account management, build strong customer relationships at all levels, and identify opportunities to expand market share and drive profitability. The position requires executing comprehensive business plans, delivering sales presentations, and collaborating cross-functionally to align market insights with organizational priorities. You will maintain a robust sales pipeline, leverage data and competitive analysis for decision-making, and represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings. Extensive travel across the territory is expected, with occasional international travel. - Develop and implement business plans to achieve sales, service revenue, and order targets across the territory
- Drive growth by identifying and developing new customers and business opportunities
- Manage and expand strategic accounts, including achieving single-source positions and increased market share
- Maintain relationships with customers at all levels and communicate voice-of-customer insights to management
- Update Salesforce and maintain accurate records, business forecasts, and reports
- Deliver presentations at customer meetings, internal meetings, trade shows, and industry conferences
- Support pricing strategies, analyze market trends, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with colleagues across functions to win opportunities and achieve long-term growth
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical discipline, or related field preferred
- Minimum 6 years of sales experience within a technology-focused organization
- Proven track record of growing business and closing complex deals
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English
- Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills
- Experience using Salesforce preferred
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory, including potential international travel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Electron Microscopy, Life Sciences, Semiconductor industries, or Vibration Control
- Experience selling capital equipment
- Knowledge of marketing processes, including market research, pricing, and competitive analysis
