This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth and build strategic client relationships within the cloud ecosystem, with a strong focus on AWS solutions. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in greenfield territories, developing accounts from the ground up, and collaborating closely with cloud partners to deliver impactful solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will align technology offerings with client objectives while ensuring successful implementation and long-term value. The position combines business development, account management, and solution selling in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. - Identify and develop new business opportunities in greenfield territories, opening new accounts and expanding into new business units
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for account-related activities
- Collaborate with AWS sales teams to co-sell, qualify, and close new opportunities
- Understand client business objectives and recommend tailored AWS-based solutions to address their needs
- Partner with technical teams to ensure successful delivery and implementation of solutions, managing timelines and expectations
- Monitor account performance, track sales metrics, and provide strategic insights to leadership
- Stay informed on industry trends, cloud technologies, and competitive landscape to guide clients effectively
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to develop proposals and deliver comprehensive solutions
- 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within the AWS ecosystem or cloud consulting services
- 3+ years of experience selling into SLED (State, Local, and Education) markets
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving new business in greenfield territories
- Strong understanding of AWS solutions and ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional or military experience
