This role plays a pivotal part in strengthening provider relationships and improving performance across healthcare markets by acting as the primary liaison between provider practices and internal teams. You will lead onboarding and implementation efforts, ensuring providers are fully equipped to navigate operational workflows, policies, and systems effectively. In this highly collaborative and impact-driven environment, you will analyze performance data, identify trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality and cost outcomes. The role requires strong relationship management skills, operational expertise, and the ability to translate complex healthcare processes into actionable guidance. You will also play a key role in resolving operational challenges, improving provider experience, and driving engagement across assigned markets. - Lead provider onboarding and new market implementation activities, ensuring smooth integration into operational systems and workflows.
- Serve as the primary liaison between provider practices and internal teams, maintaining consistent communication and engagement.
- Coordinate provider training, education, and ongoing support related to policies, processes, and operational tools.
- Oversee performance improvement initiatives, including the FastPass (goldcard) program, to enhance quality and cost outcomes.
- Analyze provider performance data, identify trends, and conduct root-cause analyses to address gaps and inefficiencies.
- Partner with providers to resolve operational issues, improve workflows, and enhance overall satisfaction and retention.
- Participate in client-facing discussions as a subject matter expert for assigned markets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes and improve the end-to-end provider experience.
- Anticipate provider needs and proactively address challenges in ambiguous or evolving situations.
- Ensure timely resolution of inquiries while maintaining strong relationships and operational alignment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with 4+ years of experience in provider operations, healthcare administration, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace programs, including provider workflows and healthcare systems.
- Understanding of prior authorization processes, claims, and medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10).
- Proven experience in relationship management, provider engagement, or healthcare operations support.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build trust.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% (required).
