About This Position

We are seeking a skilled Foreman/Lead Electrician to oversee and coordinate electrical projects on construction sites. This pivotal role involves leading a team of electricians, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management expertise, excellent supervisory skills, and a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and industry’s best practices. As a key leader on site, you will drive project success through proactive management, technical proficiency, and effective communication.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and supervise electrical installation teams while performing hands-on electrical work, assigning tasks and monitoring progress to ensure timely project completion
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify electrical layouts and specifications
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards, codes (including NEC code), and project requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and inspectors to align project schedules
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose electrical issues effectively
- Ensure all work complies with contracts, specifications, and industry standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Train and mentor apprentices and junior electricians
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of electrical experience (residential and\or commercial)
- Extensive experience in construction site management with a focus on electrical projects
- Proven supervising experience leading electrical crews in complex construction environments
- Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical systems
- Ability to read plans and manage layouts independently
- Deep understanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction sites
- Own basic tools required for the trade
- Ability to work in Florida conditions (heat, attics, outdoors)
- Excellent management skills with a focus on team leadership, communication, and problem-solving
- Able to physically perform the essential functions of the job.
- Ability to pass background check and motor vehicle record check
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
