Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and improve Rogers Group production and facilities equipment. The person in this role will support operations, lead in the maintenance of equipment, interact with production management, maintenance personnel, and contractors/venders to ensure system and equipment upgrades are made according to schedule and budget.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The responsibilities listed below are not intended to be all-inclusive.
- Equipment programming and mechanical modifications for Safety, Quality, and Productivity Improvement activities.
- Equipment rebuilds and refurbishment due to normal equipment wear.
- Evaluates equipment problems, recommends solutions, implements appropriate actions, and documents issues / resolution information.
- Assisting in coordinating shutdown activities for the shop.
- Troubleshooting and supporting maintenance team members on equipment breakdowns.
- Troubleshoots equipment and process issues to identify root cause, recommends improvements and supports implementation of root cause elimination
- Coordinate with production leadership for equipment operations and modifications to support operations and new production needs, developing positive working relationships with other departments.
- Assist Rogers Group with new equipment/system installs and setup.
- Evaluate new technologies and vendor offerings for update and improvement of fabrication, assembly, welding, and paint line process.
- Advocates for the health and safety of self, co-workers, customers and community.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Subject matter expert at reading blueprints and a tape measure.
- Three (3) + years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (required).
- Valid driver’s license
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language.
- Associate must have the ability to communicate internally and externally effectively and efficiently.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Frequent manual and finger dexterity required by the daily use of hand tools.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, reach, crouch, or kneel.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly.
Reasoning Ability:
- Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations which occur.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or work order form.
- Blueprint experience
Additional Job Information:
The environment is active and fast-paced, with fabrication and production operating throughout the day. Expect a mix of physical activity and equipment use, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts to move materials and keep operations flowing.
