Job Summary
This role is responsible for advancing provider performance, quality outcomes, and value-based care success.
The successful candidate will oversee strategic programs that directly influence physician and engagement, regulatory quality performance, operational efficiency, and financial outcomes.
The role serves as the system lead for QPP/MIPS, provider incentive programs, APP performance initiatives, Centers of Excellence, access/governance programs, and enterprise value-based care strategies.
This individual will partner closely with leadership, service line leaders, employed physicians, Epic/IT teams, analytics, finance, operations, and external vendors to drive measurable improvement across quality, utilization, growth, and margin performance.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree required
- 8+ years of progressive healthcare experience
- Experience with Epic, provider analytics, payer performance reporting, or physician enterprise operations
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide initiatives with measurable impact
- Deep expertise in physician/provider operations, quality, or population health
- Strong understanding of QPP/MIPS, provider incentives, and value-based reimbursement models n and presentation skills
- Ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution
- Strong business acumen with comfort owning metrics and financial performance
- Experience leading through complexity, ambiguity, and organizational change
Preferred:
- Master s degree preferred (MBA, MHA, MPH, or related field)
Essential Functions
Enterprise Quality & Regulatory Performance
- Serve as the health system lead for QPP/MIPS strategy, readiness, performance, and submission execution
- Drive year-over-year improvement in quality scores, provider participation, and reimbursement outcomes
- Partner with service line leadership, physicians, Epic teams, and reporting vendors to ensure strong operational execution and data integrity
- Interpret CMS and regulatory changes and translate requirements into scalable organizational strategies
Provider Incentive & Performance Programs
- Lead enterprise provider incentive programs aligning compensation with quality, provider engagement, accountability, performance and productivity
- Manage physician compensation quality components and ensure alignment with strategic priorities
Value-Based Care
- Lead system strategies across Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, MSSP/ACO, and Commercial risk/value contracts
- Drive improvements in total cost of care, quality ratings, risk adjustment, utilization management, and shared savings performance
- Develop targeted interventions to close care gaps, improve chronic disease outcomes, and optimize preventive care delivery
Population Health Strategy
- Lead initiatives focused on key priorities including:
- Preventive screenings
- Chronic disease management
- Medication adherence
- Transitions of care
- Clinical documentation improvement
- Patient engagement
- Care coordination and navigation
Data, Analytics & Executive Reporting
- Own performance reporting across quality, utilization, and financial outcomes
- Partner with analytics teams to develop dashboards, scorecards, and executive summaries
- Translate complex data into actionable insights for clinicians, operators, and senior leadership
- Identify risks and opportunities early and mobilize action plans quickly
Relationship Leadership & Influence
- Build trusted partnerships with physicians, administrators, finance, operations, and executive teams
- Influence without authority across a complex matrixed environment
- Lead change management efforts that improve provider adoption and sustained results
- Represent the organization in external payer, vendor, and strategic partner relationships
