This role sits at the intersection of product marketing, demand generation, and strategic go-to-market leadership, focused on driving growth for a data platform optimization business within the cloud ecosystem. You will own the marketing strategy for a high-impact business unit, translating revenue goals into structured campaigns, messaging, and demand programs that resonate with data engineering and FinOps audiences. Acting as the central marketing driver, you will collaborate closely with sales, product, and growth teams to define priorities and shape a clear market narrative. This is a highly strategic yet execution-driven role where your work directly influences pipeline generation and business expansion. You will operate in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with global cross-functional collaboration. The role requires strong ownership, analytical thinking, and the ability to connect marketing activity directly to revenue outcomes.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for a data platform business unit, ensuring alignment between marketing initiatives, sales priorities, and revenue objectives. You will lead integrated campaigns, demand generation efforts, and messaging strategy across multiple channels while maintaining a clear and differentiated market positioning.

  • Own and define the GTM marketing strategy for a data platform optimization business unit
  • Translate revenue and growth goals into structured quarterly marketing plans
  • Define ICP segmentation across Snowflake, data engineering, and cloud data teams
  • Lead integrated demand generation campaigns across digital, content, growth, and creative teams
  • Develop messaging frameworks and positioning around data lake and workload optimization
  • Drive pipeline generation through targeted campaigns, webinars, and thought leadership programs
  • Build and execute performance-focused marketing programs tied to measurable revenue impact
  • Partner closely with sales and product leadership to align strategy and execution
Requirements

This role requires strong B2B marketing experience in technical or data-driven environments, along with the ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels.

  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B marketing, product marketing, or demand generation
  • Experience marketing to data engineering, data platforms, or FinOps audiences
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, data lakes, or cloud-based data ecosystems
  • Strong ability to define GTM strategy and execute multi-channel campaigns
  • Proven track record of driving pipeline growth in technical B2B environments
  • Experience working closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical mindset with focus on performance and revenue impact
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and translate strategy into execution
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills for technical audiences
