Duties & Responsibilities:

• The Coordinator — InPatient Coding will assist the Inpatient Coding Manager as needed with coding questions from other teammates, assigning work queues, and more.
• Assist in working the coding manager review queue.
• Keeps a check on the waiting for information queue.
• Assist in working the unrelated accounts queue.
• Assist other coders when needed.
• Come on-site as needed for coder assistance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Strong Background in Anatomy, Physiology and Medical Terminology
• RHIT, RHIA and/or CCS required
