Job Description

Responsibilities

The Performance Specialist is responsible for designing, delivering, and leading performance workouts in the class, semi-private, team, and personal training settings. The primary function of the position will be to manage the total performance preparation of adult clients to include, but not limited to: development of training programs; application of appropriate motivational techniques; instruction of clients in the proper execution of weight training exercises, nutrition, weight loss; and energy system development. In conjunction with the Program Coordinator, this position will also be responsible for the development of the training system for the facility and educating all part time staff on this training program. This position will also require participation in promotional events such as camps, clinics, seminars, etc.

Qualifications

Required:

• 1 year in sports performance or fitness facility
• Bachelor Degree

Desired:

• Master Degree
• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
