About the Role:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• State certification or licensure to teach Physical Education.
• Experience working with children in an educational or athletic setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Physical Education or a related field.
• Experience in coaching or leading athletic programs.
• Knowledge of adaptive physical education practices for students with special needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons that align with curriculum standards.
• Assess and evaluate students' physical fitness levels and progress, providing feedback and support.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a safe, inclusive environment for all students during physical activities.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to integrate wellness and fitness concepts across the curriculum.
• Organize and supervise extracurricular athletic programs and events, promoting student participation and engagement.
