Member Services Concierge at Windham Mountain Club – Windham, New York
About This Position
Overview of Position: Reporting to the Manager of Club Operations, the Club Concierge & Driver is responsible for delivering a seamless, high-touch experience for Windham Mountain Club Members and their guests. This role combines personalized concierge services with safe and professional transportation, serving as a key point of contact from arrival through departure. The position requires exceptional service skills, strong organization, and the ability to adapt quickly to member needs in a dynamic resort environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Member & Guest Experience
· Greet and welcome Members and guests, serving as a primary point of contact during assigned shifts.
· Provide accurate information regarding events, programs, amenities, weather, and trail conditions.
· Assist Members with dining, amenity, and excursion reservations.
· Maintain up-to-date Member profiles and handle Member/Guest charges related to transportation and excursions.
· Attend and support Member events, including coordinating entertainment arrivals, setup, and completion.
Transportation & Arrival Services
· Safely transport Members and guests between Windham Mountain Club destinations, residences, parking areas, and approved off-property locations.
· Assist with loading and unloading luggage and personal belongings.
· Coordinate transportation requests and communicate effectively with the parking and operations teams.
· Perform daily vehicle safety checks and ensure vehicles are clean, stocked, and ready for service.
Facility & Environment Oversight
· Conduct daily walkthroughs of Member areas to identify and address maintenance or cleanliness needs.
· Coordinate with Facilities to ensure all Member spaces remain neat, comfortable, and welcoming.
· Maintain locker assignments, combinations, and overall locker room organization.
· Identify and address potential safety hazards in Member areas and walkways, including salting and shoveling as needed during winter conditions.
Professional Standards
· Maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to dress code standards at all times.
· Oversee and support Club support staff as assigned.
· Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Requirements:Job Qualifications:
· Previous experience in guest service roles preferred.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with members, guests, and team members.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Professional demeanor with a welcoming and personable attitude.
· Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
· Adaptable to change in a dynamic environment.
· Must be at least 21 years old.
· Valid Class D Driver’s License
· Must successfully pass a background and MVR check in accordance with Windham Mountain Club’s insurance policy guidelines
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift and maneuver up to 30 pounds regularly.
· Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
· Ability to work outdoors in variable and adverse weather conditions.
· Ability to safely operate a vehicle in winter driving conditions.
· Ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, including snow- and ice-covered surfaces.
· Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform fine motor skills (computer and smartphone use).
Work Schedule and Conditions:
We are in the business of providing exceptional service and member and guest experiences. Traditionally our busy periods are during weekends and holiday periods during which you will be expected to work. You can also expect to be asked to work extra hours or days on occasion, especially during the holiday periods.
This position requires that you work all Weekends and Holidays during the season beginning the Thanksgiving weekend and ending the final weekend in March; hours to fluctuate based on need.
