Junior Showroom & Visualization Designer (Tile, Stone, Wood & Vinyl)

We are hiring a Junior Showroom & Visualization Designer to support our showroom experience through customer-facing design assistance and visual tools such as layouts, boards, and renderings.

This role focuses on helping customers and sales teams visualize projects, coordinate materials, and make confident design decisions. It is an on-site role that combines showroom interaction with design and visualization work in our design studio.

$25 - $32 hourly

• Provide design assistance to walk-in customers and scheduled appointments
• Help customers coordinate tile, stone, wood, and vinyl selections
• Create SketchUp layouts, boards, and renderings for customer presentations
• Support sales teams with visual tools that help close projects
• Assist with showroom displays, vignettes, and presentation standards
• Build mood boards and palettes using existing product collections
• Maintain organized digital files for boards, layouts, and renderings

• Strong design instincts and comfort working directly with customers
• Proficiency in SketchUp or similar visualization software
• Portfolio demonstrating boards, layouts, or renderings (required)
• Clear communication skills and professional presence
• Strong organization and reliability in a showroom environment
• 0–3 years of experience in interior design, showroom design, or a related field preferred
• Experience with tile, stone, wood, vinyl, kitchens, or baths is a plus
• Strong command of color theory and application, with the ability to design, coordinate, and contrast palettes across multiple surface materials to create cohesive, compelling results
