Collision Estimator at Mills Automotive Group – Baxter, Minnesota

This position acts as the main contact between our Guests and our business. This position is responsible for managing Guest interactions, accurately estimating repair costs of vehicles, explaining repairs and costs, and ensuring timely delivery of vehicles. Their role involves excellent Guest service and strong communication skills.

Auto Body knowledge and experience are a plus, though they are not required. We have outstanding training opportunities available for those willing to grow.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Positively greet Guests and listen to Guest concerns.
• Thoroughly inspect, assess, and document damage to each vehicle's body, frame, and paint.
• Prepare detailed estimates/quotes following thorough vehicle inspections.
• Provide accurate estimates/quotes for repairs ensuring accurate costs for parts, labor, and materials required for each repair.
• Complete required documentation and send it to insurance companies timely.
• Effectively manage Guest appointments and multiple repairs simultaneously, while coordinating with Management.
• Inform Guests about repair procedures and vehicle safety.
• Monitor repair status of each vehicle and communicate status and completion timelines to Guests.
• Maintain positive Guest relationships, always working in the best interest of our Guests, to encourage repeat and referral business.
• Address and resolve Guest complaints immediately.
• Maintain accurate Guest records.

The workdays for this position are Monday through Friday, with a rotational Saturday. Our facilities are always closed on Sunday. The work hours are either 7:00am to 5:00pm or 8:00am to 6:00pm.

This position is paid on a commission/incentive-based Pay Plan. $36-$80k+/year (commission based). The compensation is comprised of a Base Salary and incentives for key metrics of Guest Service, sales, and other potential incentives. There is no limit or cap on the incentive amounts!
