Janitorial Operations Managerat Marsden South
Shift: Schedule flexibility is required. The position is primarily Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with occasional weekend work as needed.
Compensation:$50,000
Location: Katy, Texas
Requirements:
- You must be 18 years old.
- Bilingual in two or more languages, with English being one of those languages
- A pre-employment criminal background check is required.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
- Valid drivers license/good driving record
- Able to lift more than 30 lbs
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience in a mobile management role
- Prefer experience working with a diverse population
- 2-5 years supervisory/management experience in a commercial cleaning or similar environment
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, with strong overall computer skills
- Good communication skills
- Able to supervise 30+ employees
Job Duties:
As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, youll be:
Under the direction of the operational team, the account manager is responsible for the daily maintenance of the facilities. Assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding janitorial services and take corrective action. May order and pick up janitorial supplies and equipment, take inventories, perform audits, oversee, hire, and train new employees, fill in if there is a call out at a location and work with clients at times.
- Supervises and coordinates activities of workers at multiple work sites engaged in janitorial services.
- Assigns janitorial work to employees, following material and work requirements.
- Inspects work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.
- Confers with and coaches staff to resolve production and personnel problems.
- Train workers in janitorial methods and procedures and proper operation of equipment.
- Issues janitorial supplies and equipment to workers to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
- Ensures clients are satisfied with the current performance of the team.
- Completes regular quality inspections of assigned accounts and acts appropriately based on results of the quality inspections.
- Holds regular feedback conversations with staff to discuss performance and development goals
- Ensures all associates are properly trained at each assigned account with a focus on long term retention.
- Maintain a safe work environment for self and employees by enforcing the companys safety, recognition, and training programs.
- Maintain attendance records, track time and vacation, and assist with payroll duties
- Conduct interviews and collaborate with the Recruiter and Human Resources
- Handles administrative duties of assigned accounts to include, but not limited to: timekeeping, payroll, set up interviews,documentation of employee performance and safety, and maintaining inventory of necessary supplies
